Cool. The intersection of lives and stories on and around Route 66 is remarkable--Nat King Cole to Steinbeck to the Rolling Stones to Bill Gates...and so many others.
You're beginning to get the sense of what I hope will happen with this class. With time, the books, and ALL those articles (short and long), and the class discussions, and the presentations, will become on big giant mix, which will turn around your sense of geography as a living, breathing, field that YOU are the master of!
No guarantee that it'll happen, but it's sure fun to see the process getting going.
